Transparent LED Holographic Screen
13 Oct, 2026
The WX Series Holographic Screen is a thinner, lighter indoor transparent solution with finer pixel pitches, covering P2.5–P10. It is suitable for indoor scenarios such as exhibition halls, flagship stores, and stage backdrops that require high image quality and a "floating" visual effect. Protection rating is IP20, indoor use only.
01.What is the difference between a holographic screen and a film screen?
The WX Holographic Screen has finer pixel pitches (P2.5–P10), with the finest reaching 2.5mm, delivering a smoother image and emphasizing a "floating/holographic" visual experience. The SF Film Screen starts at P4 and goes up to P20, and is more oriented toward long-distance viewing on curtain walls. Both weigh 3.5kg/m² and are very thin and light.
02.For an in-store holographic display that needs to be clear even up close, which pixel pitch should I choose?
The finest in the WX Series is P2.5, with an optimal viewing distance of ≥3m and 70% transparency. It is suitable for flagship stores and exhibition halls where viewers stand about 3 meters away. If you want higher transparency, P10 offers up to 93% transparency, but with a 10mm pixel pitch, it is suitable for slightly farther viewing.
03.Can the holographic screen be installed outdoors or in places exposed to rain?
No. The WX Series has an IP20 protection rating, which is indoor protection — not dustproof or waterproof. It can only be installed indoors or in sheltered spaces. For outdoor or semi-outdoor environments, please choose an IP65 mesh screen or outdoor model.
04.Is the brightness of the holographic screen sufficient?
The WX Series brightness range is 1000–4500 cd/m², covering needs from ordinary indoor environments to brighter indoor environments. For indoor use, 1000–2500 cd/m² is usually sufficient. If the exhibition hall has strong ambient light, choose a higher-brightness model.
05.How high is the transparency of the P10 holographic screen?
WX Series transparency ranges from 70% for P2.5 to 93% for P10. P10 offers up to 93% transparency, making it very transparent and almost not affecting daylighting or the view behind it.
06.Is the holographic screen heavy? Is it easy to install?
It weighs only 3.5kg/m², as thin and light as the film screen. Hanging, surface mounting, or frame installation are all relatively easy, with low load-bearing requirements for ceilings and brackets.
07.Will there be scan lines when photographing the holographic screen with a camera?
No. The WX Series has a refresh rate of ≥3840Hz, a high-refresh specification. The image is stable with no flicker or scan lines during shooting or live streaming.
08.Does the holographic screen change color or darken when viewed from the side?
The WX Series has a 140° viewing angle, which is relatively wide. Content remains visible from normal side viewing, but it is slightly narrower than the film screen's 160°. During design and installation, it is recommended to face the main viewing surface toward the audience flow.
09.What is the optimal viewing distance for the holographic screen?
WX Series optimal viewing distances range from ≥3m for P2.5 to ≥10m for P10. The smaller the pixel pitch, the closer the viewing distance. When choosing a model, first measure the typical distance from the audience to the screen, then select the corresponding pixel pitch.
10.Can the holographic screen be used for stage backdrops?
Yes. The lightweight 3.5kg/m² and high refresh rate of ≥3840Hz make it very suitable for stages and launch event backdrops. However, note the IP20 indoor protection. If the stage has rain spray, water mist, or similar effects, additional shielding is required.
11. For an exhibition hall that wants both transparency and clarity, how should I choose between P2.5 and P3.91?
P2.5 has a finer pixel pitch and a sharper image, but its transparency is 70%, which is relatively lower. P3.91 has a slightly larger pixel pitch and better transparency, making it suitable for exhibition halls with slightly longer viewing distances that also want greater transparency. Both are indoor IP20 and 3.5kg/m².
12.What application places are suitable for holographic screens?
The WX Series has a fine pixel pitch, high refresh rate, and is thin, light, and transparent. It is typically suitable for indoor exhibition halls, brand flagship stores, stage backdrops, shop windows, and other close-distance, high-visual-quality scenarios. It is not recommended for outdoor use.
